I've picked all of my subjects, I've done the Sixth Form orientation, I've met the Head of Sixth Form and now it's my first lesson.
Crap !! I cant remember any of my GCSE stuff. Now I'm going to hide and hope I don't get asked a question.
So what's the best advice:
Make sure you have all the basics which would be a pen, a decent 30 cm transparent ruler, plenty of HB pencils, eraser, protractor and of course a calculator (graphic if you want but definitely scientific).
Have a decent notebook. If you have an iPad (and are allowed to use them) get something like notability with a scientific keyboard.
Look after the humungous text book
Deep breathe and stay calm
The text book is NOT a novel so don't try to read it from start to finish and definitely don't read it in bed unless you have a problem sleeping.
If you really want to hide from the teacher - look as though you're reading part of the text book and then look confused when asked a question. Chances are the teacher will just leave you alone !!
